Rob Howard

Rob Howard is the owner of Online Language Center and founder of EFLtalks - teachers teaching teachers. Having run successful businesses in the US and Brazil, he is online teaching Business English. He has taught worldwide in companies such as Yandex, 3M, Petrobras, Vale, Odebrecht, PWC, KPMG, CVM, IBM, INTEL and over 50 of the largest and most prestigious law firms and financial institutions in Rio de Janeiro, as well as to university professors at UFRJ, UERJ and FGV. He is a Gallery Teachers Masterclass presenter and panelist, an iTDi TOEFL Course Trainer, a speaker worldwide on Teacher Development, Online Business Retention, image presentation, IATEFL BESIG Joint  Coordinator, founder and past President of the BRAZ-TESOL BESIG, and Visual Arts Circle Online Coordinator. He has authored and coauthored several books for EFL. He was nominated for the 2016 British Council’s ELTon Award for Innovation in Teacher Development.

Karin Heuert Galvão

Karin Heuert Galvão has worked for 17 years as an EFL teacher and for 9 years as the Director of i-Study Interactive Learning, a language school based in São Paulo, Brazil. She holds, among others, the CELTA and IH Certificate in Online Tutoring. She also works as an ELT consultant for schools, helping them find solutions for their EFL programs. She has worked with several multinational companies based in Brazil, helping their employees to develop as speakers of English and assisting them in negotiations. Karin is also a prominent and active member of the Advisory board of EFLtalks and has been working with the Intercultural Language Education SIG as their Vice-President (Braz-TESOL). She is also the Treasurer at BRAZ-TESOL BESIG. In order to help teachers develop their careers and her own, Karin is always looking for opportunities to teach, learn and share ideas.

Henrick Oprea

Henrick Oprea has been working in Education for since 1997. Since then, he has worked as a teacher-trainer, Director of Studies, university professor at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels, college counselor, project coordinator for high school students, and high school principal. His main focus is on education and teacher education. In this regard, he's been presenting workshops and giving talks in Brazil and other countries, both online and in person. With a keen interest in technology and its applications in education. he is a Google Certified educator constantly looking for ways in which technology can support methodology in the classroom. He is the past president of BRAZ-TESOL, the largest association for teachers of English in Brazil working alongside outstanding professionals from the field of ELT in Brazil to foster better training and opportunities for other English teachers.
